In 2003 graduated from the Moscow State Social University of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, majoring in Legal.

She has state awards:

• Medal of the Order "For Country Merits", 2nd Class (2017);

• Order of Honor (2019).

Elena Zavaleeva works in Rosneft from 2008. Starting 2013, Elena held a number of managerial positions in the Company.

In September 2017 she was appointed the State Secretary - Vice President of Rosneft Oil Company.

From April 2018 – member of the Management Board of Rosneft.

Elena Zavaleeva holds a seat in the boards of several organizations.
